The first and foremost step to start any skincare routine is to use cleanser suitable for your skin type to remove dirt oil. Use a double cleanser in the evening because after spending and working the whole day, first use an oil-based cleanser followed by a water-based cleanser.

The second step is to use an exfoliator. But use it with extra precaution. It removes dead skin cells; now it's up to you when you prefer to exfoliate your skin. Some people prefer to apply it in the morning to start their day with fresh skin, and some prefer to use it before bed to remove dead cells and promote new skin. Both are equally good, but exfoliators may be used with your doctor's recommendation or by considering your skin type and environment.

If you have normal skin, exfoliating your 1-2 times a week is recommended. But for people with dry skin type or in dry weather conditions, only one-time usage is enough for your skin. Too much usage can irritate and damage your skin.

Similarly, with oily skin or in a humid environment, its usage can be increased up to 3-4 times depending upon the condition of your skin and environment.

Use a dropper to drop serum or essence oil and spread it over the area for better and uniform absorption. Apply serum per your skin concerns (e.g., vitamin C for brightening, hyaluronic acid for hydration, or niacinamide for oil control).

Gently pat on an eye cream formulated to address concerns like dark circles, puffiness, or fine lines. It's a must-have product for eye care routine

Use a comedogenic moisturizer or collagen face cream in the morning and at night to lock in your skin hydration and make you feel smoother.

Always remember to put sunscreen with at least SPF 30 or 40 in the morning to protect from exposure to sunlight and in heated areas, especially in the kitchen. It protects your skin from harmful sunlight (UV rays) and prevent premature aging.
